Link Orbit, LLC may be new to the public, but it has been around for awhile. Founders Aaron Pike and Brent Rangen are both very experienced in Search and Social Media. Most importantly, they both have experience with other blog networks.
Aaron Pike-has over 10 years in the web development business, Aaron has the experience and the technical background in creating high end web based applications.
"Splogs or AutoBlogs are going to be a bad memory for most of us. At one point the idea was to get the juiciest content you can get in front of Google even if it meant stealing or repurposing existing content. Our goal is to make that ideology a distant memory. We want quality content that actually is useful to people."
As the primary developer and architect of the Link Orbit system, one of the biggest decisions for me was rather or not to include a spinning option for articles. Ultimately, I decided to include it even if it seems to go against our agenda. The reasoning is I think spinning can be a valuable tool, if the intention is to differentiate your content across the network. Care should be taken to edit your own spins to make sure they really are unique and read well. If the intention is to get repurpose content quickly and spam with it, it won't get far on our network we have other tools in place to keep spam out.
Brent Rangen—with over 10 years in the search industry, Brent knows what it takes to achieve high rankings.
"One of the biggest disconnects in this industry is finding the relationships which carry your web presence to the next level. Blog networks are often full of affiliate marketing blogs, blog posts, and it makes most legitamite businesses stay away from blog networks altogether. This is why I decided to partner with Aaron and create a blog network that is actually usable by search optimization agencies."
Brent is the 2010 Small Biz Discovery contest winner (Bruce Clay, Inc.), Search Engine Watch (SEW) news author, owner of the Optimize Guyz, and CMO of HubJuice. Brent is a consistent voice in search and social and has worked very hard to have an impact on the way inbound marketing is perceived in the business industry.
The vision of Brent and Aaron is to truly connect high quality blogs, blogs most individuals would never have a chance at getting a post on, even if the post was ‘New Yorker’ quality.
Link Orbit is in a unique position to harvest relationships with quality blog owners and quality authors, connect the two, and have both parties benefit unlike any other blog network, directory, or private networks have done before. High quality, unique, hand-crafted, human approval and more. Not only will Link Orbit pass link equity, it will also help users gain momentum over social channels and it does have all of the settings, features, and support options a traditional blog network should!
